Who is Paul Jenny?
I’m a writer, actor and adventurer in NYC and around the world who believes that Stories are the Wildest Things.
As a “road scholar” I’ve been a laborer in the trenches of higher education (i.e. adjunct professor)traveling from university to university to teach. Of the many, many jobs I’ve had over the years, some have been good, some really bad, but all of them helped me grow as a person and a writer.
I’m the father of a 26 week, 2 lbs. 1 oz. preemie, who is now an exuberant four-year-old thriving in every way hoped for. I have two teenage sons from a previous marriage who love to go on adventures with me as well.
My wife is a casting director/actress/amazing woman who also happens to be my best friend in the world.
My life has been filled with adventure and for that I’m grateful.
I’m also an expert at picking myself up and dusting myself off.
Sometimes, I sleep.
What is the purpose of Stories are the Wildest Things?
The simple answer: I want to help you tell your stories in the most powerful, creative and wide-reaching way that you can.
We’re on this wild writing adventure together, so let’s talk as we wander. Comments, suggestions, questions and links to your blog are welcome and encouraged.
Let’s explore the problems and joys we all have with writing and share how we’ve solved those problems or experienced those joys.
We can talk about the struggles we have to overcome but I also want to celebrate the victories.
We’ll do this by sharing writing prompts, podcasts, writing quotes, wildest words of the day, and exploring classes, techniques and methods that I hope will contribute to your adventure and inspire you in some small way.
Please join me. Adventuring is more fun with others.

What a little cutie you have! I think we could spend hours talking about the process, (processes) involved with writing. It fascinates me. I’ve written several stories on the topic, as I was a ‘closet writer’ for many years. 🙂 ~Karen~
